People In The City

People in the City: Bodegas, Beisbol, and The American Dream
In this 50 minute romp through city streets, based on the civilians of Chicago, Miami and NYC, Lorena Diaz and Wendy Mateo play approximately 20 different characters, allowing for the audience to use their imagination to implant the scenes, neighborhoods and even each character’s distinct features. Performed multiple times on the iO Theater stage in Wrigleyville, this set of sketches can be called the very first masterpiece for the partners in crime. People in the City was originally directed by Charna Halpern, now being produced by MikeyO Productions.
